Built by the Knights of St. John in 1566, Valletta is an architectural masterpiece and an open-air museum with nearly five centuries of history. Admire its imposing fortifications, baroque palaces, churches, gardens, and stunning architecture blending Baroque, Mannerist, Neo-Classical, and Modern styles.

Stroll through bustling streets lined with historic buildings and visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens for breathtaking views of the Grand Harbour.

An optional highlight is St. John’s Co-Cathedral (if you wish to visit the cathedral select the option when booking), completed in 1577, renowned for its opulent interiors, marble tombstones of knights, and Caravaggio’s masterpieceThe Beheading of Saint John the Baptist.

If you select the option that does not include the visit to the cathedral, while other guests will be visiting the cathedral, you'll have some free time (approximately 30–40 minutes) to roam around the streets of Valletta until you meet again with the rest of the group at a designated time and place

No particular dress code is required; it's recommended to wear comfortable clothes according to the forecasted weather. If you have selected the option which includes a visit to St. John's Co-Cathedral, one should note some decorum is expected when visiting the cathedral (avoid wearing very short skirts, sleeveless shirts, see-through clothing, excessively revealing clothing, etc.)
