Hidden away near Porto Cristo on Majorca’s east coast, Hams Caves offers an eye-catching trip beneath the island's surface. Discovered in 1905, these underground chambers are famous for their distinctive hook-shaped stalactites, known as “hams” in the local Majorcan language, and are considered one of Majorca’s most interesting natural attractions.
Inside, you’ll find a bunch of illuminated galleries that reveal cryptic rock formations, mirror-like underground lakes, and even a light-and-music show that brings the caves to life.
