The inside story
Cala Ratjada is a gem in the crown of Majorca's northeastern coast. Brimming with life and natural beauty, it's one of the island's most popular holiday spots. This former fishing village has maintained its charm over the years while evolving to meet the needs of modern-day tourists. This place’s beginnings can be traced back to the 17th century when it was mostly used as a port for the nearby town of Capdepera. Over time, it developed into a bustling tourist hotspot without losing its traditional Spanish flair. Today, it's known for its well-kept beaches, lively nightlife and historic landmarks – the Lighthouse of Capdepera and the March House, a mansion turned art gallery, are the main drawers.
