Know in advance:

• The total travel distance of the tour is 640 miles
• The minimum age to attend the tour is 4
• You will spend 2 nights in Portree, accommodation is not included in the tour fee, you can choose the type of accommodation you want, depending on your budget, between youth hostels, B&B, and hotels. You can choose the accommodation option you prefer upon booking, the tour organiser will contact you to book the chosen accommodation. Please note, in order to secure your booking, they will require your credit card information
• Accommodation is payable to the owner upon check-in. Please note that many Bed and Breakfasts do not have card machines and do require guests to pay in cash. Accommodation rates do vary between providers and seasons. For this reason, we are only able to give you an estimated rate until a booking has been made.
• Estimated rates are as follows: Hostel: £30.00 – £40.00 per person per night; B&B (Shared): £70.00 – £110.00 per person per night; B&B (Single occupancy): £100.00 – £150.00 per night; Hotel: From (Shared) £95.00+ per person per night; Hotel: From (Single occupancy): £150.00+ per night
• Upon booking, you can also choose to book the accommodation on your own. Please note that the accommodation has to be in central Portree, in order to allow your driver-guide to drop you off and collect you. Please inform the tour organiser of your accommodation name and address at your earliest convenience. Tour organiser contacts can be found in the voucher after booking
• Please note that the luggage must be restricted to one piece per person. For guidance: a medium-sized suitcase is considered 60-69 cm high, and roughly 45 cm wide
• There is also the option for a Glasgow pickup. If there is no passenger to collect in Glasgow, the tour will take a different rout from Edinburgh via Stirling and will not visit Loch Lomond, but offer an alternative route
• It's recommended to book tables at restaurants in Portree, if you would like a sit-down meal in the evening
• The driver-guide will conduct the tour in English, but written translations of the commentary are available in: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin); you can request it to the tour organiser. Contacts can be found in the voucher after booking
