Fotografiska, the global hub for photography and visual storytelling, is a contemporary museum of art and culture. Established in 2010 in a historic customs house, it quickly became part of Stockholm's cultural landscape. Since then, it has expanded to Berlin, Shanghai, and Tallinn.
The museum spans several floors, showcasing works by both established and emerging artists. It explores photography and visual art in many forms, from traditional prints to digital media and multidisciplinary installations. Exhibitions change almost monthly and are accompanied by a dynamic events programme.
At the top of the building, Fotografiska features an award-winning bistro and restaurant offering seasonal, locally sourced dishes with spectacular city views. The regularly changing menus suit all tastes, from coffee and light bites to refined dining. In summer, refreshments can be enjoyed on the veranda at the entrance. The ground floor also hosts a curated store with posters, books, gifts, and design objects inspired by current and past exhibitions.
