The Orotava tasting is a direct immersion into the wine and gastronomic culture of Tenerife. This experience offers the opportunity to explore the unique character of wines grown in volcanic soils, guided by an expert sommelier who narrates the history and techniques behind each glass. You'll discover how the island's climate influences the grapes, creating unparalleled flavour profiles.
During the session, you'll enjoy a carefully curated selection of three wines representative of the region. A dry white wine, characterised by its freshness and minerality, will be tasted, followed by a young red that showcases the vitality of the local grapes. To complete the aromatic spectrum, a fruity white wine with a gentler, sweeter profile will be served. The sensory journey is complemented by a pairing of three portions of local cheeses, selected to highlight the notes of each wine. To enhance the flavours, artisanal jams and the classic Canarian mojo sauce are included.
