Not allowed:

• Bare shoulders or knees. Remember that you must cover your shoulders and knees to enter the Vatican Museums. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc.) to put on just before entering the Vatican

Know in advance:

• Only small backpacks and handbags are allowed inside the Colosseum (no bag check) and the Vatican Museums (bag check available). If you check something at the Vatican Museums, you must return (about a 20-minute walk) to the entrance to pick up your items at the end of the tour
• The sites are subject to occasional closures. If modifications are needed and time permits, the local tour operator will contact you before your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time
• Please note that the Colosseum entrance ticket is €18 (already included in the tour price). The remaining cost of the experience covers additional services, including a professional local guide, individual headsets, customer support, and other related amenities
• Walks is an Official Parco Archeologico del Colosseo Operator approved to lead guided tours of the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill
• The tour complies with all local government regulations. Please refer to local government guidelines for the most up-to-date information
• The maximum number of participants is 18
• Between January 12 and March 31, 2026, the Vatican Museums will carry out a dedicated preservation project focused on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment. The Sistine Chapel will remain open, but the fresco will be temporarily covered by scaffolding during this period, this specific artwork will be temporarily out of view during the restoration period.
