Your day begins with a pick-up from Piazza della Calza in an air-conditioned minibus. Sit back and relax as the driver navigates out of Florence and onto the Chianti Road, renowned for being one of Italy's most visually appealing routes.
After roughly an hour's journey, your first stop is at a local winery. Here, you'll have the opportunity to sample four different wines, each with their own distinct flavours. A wine producer will guide you through the tasting process, helping you appreciate the nuances of each variety. To complement your wine tasting, balsamic vinegar, truffle oil, and extra virgin olive oil are also provided. Next, the minibus takes you to another winery located in the Vernaccia white grape region near San Gimignano. Accompanied by the winemakers themselves, you'll tour both the vineyard and wine cellar. During this visit, you'll taste Vernaccia, a rosé, and a Colli Senesi wine.
The third stop on your itinerary is the charming Tuscan hill town of San Gimignano. You'll have ample time to explore the town centre at your leisure. Finally, your day concludes with a return trip to Florence in the late afternoon.
