Next, take the cable car up to the upscale Vomero district. You'll visit the lavishly decorated Certosa di San Martino, a former monastery and now a museum. The views over the Bay of Naples from here are also worth the trip.
After some free time for lunch, you'll visit one of Europe's most beautiful metro stations. It boasts 180 works by 90 international artists. Round off the day with a ride on the Metro and a stroll around the historic centre of this pulsating city.
