Serpenteando por las pintorescas terrazas sobre Machico, se acercará aún más a la impresionante belleza de Madeira en esta caminata guiada de 6 km. Este paseo de dos horas y media comienza en Maroços y sigue un canal de riego bordeado de flores, con vistas a Machico y al océano Atlántico.

Dirigiéndose al este de Madeira, comenzará este sencillo paseo por el campo desde el bonito pueblo de Maroços, situado en la ladera de una colina. Está situado entre exuberantes terrazas agrícolas que parecen enormes escalones tallados en las colinas. Saldrá a pie con su guía y descubrirá lugares que no podría ver en coche mientras recorre en espiral las verdes terrazas por encima de Machico y a través del Valle de la Mimosa.

Seguiremos la "levada", el canal de riego, y por el camino podrá echar un vistazo a la vida cotidiana de la isla mientras observa a los agricultores ocupándose de sus tierras y animales. Además, no podrá apartar la vista de las vistas panorámicas sobre Machico y el Océano Atlántico que se despliegan ante usted.
